Tobias Windrich to lead the management team at ATG Autotechnik - Many years of experience in the HÜBNER Group

Tobias Windrich assume the position of General Manager at ATG Autotechnik GmbH located in Siek and Trittau, Germany, close to Hamburg. The 52-year-old executive has been working for the HÜBNER Group, which includes the company ATG, since 2019.

Insight into ATG development in previous function

Tobias Windrich is a trained aircraft engine mechanic and a state-certified technician specializing in mechanical engineering. He has been working for the HÜBNER Group for several years in various functions, including on the general management of other affiliated companies and as head of the central unit H-Fit/Operational Excellence. In this role, he was working on process improvements together with his team at various HÜBNER Group companies worldwide. 

In this function he already acquired deeper insights into the processes at ATG. In his professional career, Tobias Windrich has had extensive experience with continuous improvement processes (CIP) and operational excellence initiatives in a variety of industries in Germany and in other countries.

 

Interim arrangement for top ATG post

Over the preceding year, the management of ATG has been handled by Uwe Bittroff on an interim basis. This interim arrangement resulted from previous ATG Managing Director Stefan Liu’s transfer at the beginning of 2024 to take over the management of the two HÜBNER Group companies in the USA – HUBNER Manufacturing Corporation (HMC) in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, and HUBNER Component Solutions LLC (HCS) in Dunlap, Tennessee.
